Steve Lamb's (Sales Consultant) Holiday to Thailand

Mid August saw Steve escape the stresses of everyday living with a relaxing holiday in Phuket, Thailand.  While August here in Adelaide at the time was cold and windy, Thailand had the complete opposite with 30 degree days and quite humid.  Steve thought it would be the perfect opportunity to work on his tan but it turns out the sunscreen he was using must have been too strong, he ended up returning just as pale as when he left.
Apart from relaxing at the beautiful beachside resort, Steve and his partner Jess made some time to visit some of the beautiful sights Thailand has to offer.  One highlight was the speedboat ride taking them to all the wonderful island attractions and pristine beaches along with snorkelling the reefs and swimming with the tropical fish.  Plenty of fantastic memories to bring home with them.
Other wonderful memories they have were canoeing through dark caves, visiting tranquil lagoons, elephant trekking,  talking and learning local culture from the Thai tour guides.
The people are very friendly and always willing to help. A word of advice is not to get a traditional thai massage.  Steve came out feeling a lot sorer than when he entered after the lady walked all over his back and folded him in half like a piece of origami..
All in all a great holiday and a beautiful place to visit.

Professionals Supporting Hayden Buckham at Stadium Drift Round 2, 2011

On Saturday 3rd September South Australian best drifters battled it out at
Tailem Bend Motorsport Park for round 2 pro class. Close and
competitive sideways action had all talking who would win this event. The
battles from top 8 to the finals were fierce with Simon Michelmore &
Hayden Buckham driving “out of their skins” in some of the best battles
seen. Hayden in the end was triumphant making this his second win for
the two rounds. The Professionals would like to congratulate Hayden on
his wins and encourage others to spectate this adrenal filled sport at the
next round of Stadium Drift on Saturday 5th November.

Professionals Top Office Again

Well we won it again, yes for the 10th time it is pleasing to say we were top office again plus Antony Kershaw was No.2 salesperson and Anne Wierenga was No. 4 which gave us 5 salespeople in the top 20.

Held at the Intercontinental Hotel (former Hyatt) on North Tce, the setting of the room was spectacular and we were met by the “moving statues” dressed in white – well done the Intercontinental, and it set the scene for a relaxed and enjoyable night.

Speeches were kept short, the 7 piece band Fever Was really good and it wasn’t long before everybody – well most anyway (what is it with men that won’t dance – you only have to stand there and sway in the breeze).

The food was really good, the service was nicely spaced and the wine was very good – both white and red.

With tired feet and voices (yes real estate people can get hoarse) the evening finished at approximately 11.30 pm with the more mature going home to bed and the younger visiting the casino next door.

To sum it up –a really great night that everybody enjoyed.

Professionals Reunion Dinner on 3rd September at the Maylands Hotel

Saturday night 3rd September saw a number of old and existing employees get together for dinner at the Maylands Hotel. The food was great, we had our own room (we needed it to contain the noise) and it was great to hear that everybody was in good health. It varied from 17 years to 5 years ago that people had left us and still looked as good as when we worked together. Everyone explained what they remember that characters we are in real estate and fond memories they all had of our time together.

3 Easy Steps To Selling Your Home

1. Choose a local Real Estate Agent. Professionals are independently owned real estate businesses, with Agents who know their local areas and know the people who make up the community. When you choose to work with Professionals, you benefit from all the advantages offered by a fully networked real estate group, and receive the individual attention and responsibility provided by a privately owned, local business. Should you choose not to work with Professionals, ensure that you have done your research on your Agent.

2. We'll help you choose the best way to sell your home. To successfully sell a home it's important to have a sound knowledge of the local real estate market. We'll help you decide on a realistic value for your home, based on actual market activity in your area and we'll guide you through the preparation for presentation to the market. We'll work with you to plan the best mix of marketing activity to attract buyers to your home. Signs, Internet, office displays, press or maybe a catalogue all help to sell your home.

3. We'll help you customise your own marketing plan. You'll be shown marketing plans from which we'll help you customise one to suit the property and your budget. It's also your choice how to sell your home. We'll discuss with you the best method the suits you and the property - For Sale or Auction. It's our job to make the sale of your home a rewarding experience.
